Serving Osage County Since 2011
Lieutenant Gil DuPont has been a dedicated member of the Osage County law enforcement team since 2011, bringing over three decades of experience, technical expertise, and a deep commitment to public service.
Gil began his career in the early 1990s with specialized training in prison operations in Texas, where he gained foundational knowledge in corrections, security, and rehabilitation. His early work laid the groundwork for a career marked by discipline, leadership, and a focus on community safety.
In addition to his field experience, Gil pursued academic studies in computer science, with a focus on software integrations and application protocol interfaces. His technical background has enabled him to modernize departmental operations, improve data systems, and support investigative work with cutting-edge tools.
Beyond his professional role, Gil is known for his dedication to religious missions. Each year, he travels to West Africa with other Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM) missionaries to assist in establishing a healthy church within walking distance of every African. His mission work reflects the same compassion and integrity that define his service at home.
Lieutenant DuPont continues to serve Osage County with honor, combining tactical expertise, technological insight, and a heart for service—both locally and globally.
